Product Line Integration

Many of our team at Prime Design have come from manufacturing backgrounds and therefore have lots of experience of production lines, both the positives and the negatives. You could say manufacturing is in our DNA.

Here at Prime Design, we are able to bring our depth of experience to bear on the design and integration of your production line. Production Line integration is effectively harmonizing the processes and equipment required to produce the right quality, at the lowest cost. On many occasions we have visited sites where line integration has not been done well and customers have therefore been left with trying to make the best of a bad situation. These investments are often very significant and are expected to last for many years, poor integration can last for a long time but it doesn’t have to be this way!

When approaching production line integration, we get involved early in order to make sure all of the building blocks for successful integration have been addressed and that risks have been adequately mitigated. This helps us make sure we deliver the facility (and capabilities) that the customer wants.

To validate the physical integration, we utilise 3D laser scanning and computer simulation modelling to validate the mechanical/ control integration.
