Factory Relocation (Scotland to West Midlands)
Prime Design was approached to manage the implementation of a new roofing manufacturing line in the West Midlands. All aspects of the manufacturing process and environmental impacts were reviewed, then along with stakeholder requirements, detailed requirements for the building and specifications for the plant were created. We managed the construction of a new purpose built facility and installation and commissioning of the manufacturing line.
The output from the new line was better than anticipated which ultimately allowed the customer to relocate all manufacturing to this facility. We arranged the physical relocation of remaining equipment and decommissioning of the site in Scotland.
